Frederik is a multi-disciplinary artist working in painting, drawing, films and music. After growing up in Dorset, he left for London in 2007 at 20 years old to undertake a BA in Fine Art Painting at Wimbledon College of Art.

After graduating Frederik pursued various musical projects and bands, touring Europe and the world, taking in the landscapes and architecture of various countries. As well as music, he somehow fell in to a career as a Location Manager in the Film and TV Industry, working on productions such as The Crown. This work embedded passions for places, landscapes and buildings, which continues to influence and feed in to his psycho-geographic painting practice.

In October 2023 Frederik relocated to the City of Sheffield to take up a studio in a former Steel Works office in the Attercliffe area. What followed was a flurry of urban post-industrial landscape painting influenced by new surrounds, which continues to grow month by month.
